ALBERTI BABA AL LIMONCELLO 750g

Strega Alberti's roots stretch back to 1860 in Benevento. Alberti specializes in liqueurs and confectionaries. Their babas follow the traditional mushroom shaped brioche cakes, soaked in hard liqueur and sugar. The cakes have a light, fluffy, cloud-like constancy but are then dried out before the soaking process. These Babas are soaked in a limoncello syrup made using lemons from the Amalfi Coast.
