Belazu traditional Genovese basil pesto is made with pine nuts and basil leaves from Veneto – the area surrounding Venice in northern Italy. The time-honoured combination is brilliantly versatile.

Stir the pesto over steamed green beans and butter beans for a tasty side dish, or mix through mashed potato. Try it spooned over vegetables before roasting, or simply stir it through perfectly cooked pasta for a quick and easy dinner recipe.
