Creamy, dark chocolate with a citrusy, minty, spicy, unnamable qualities of cardamom. During the last visit to mountainous, Matagalpa, Nicaragua with the cacao sourcing non-profit, Enliven International, Primo Botánica had the privilege to meet several cacao farming families. While the men go out and prune cacao trees, the women wild harvest other spices and fruit to buffer the sales of cacao beans. Several years later they were able to pay these women to directly harvest, dry and send this very special cardamom to include in this limited edition bar.
